9. Deep within the the extinct volcano,

10. that is the Autobot headquarters,

11. a strange experiment is taking place.

12. But this experiment is not the brainchild of Autobot scientist Wheeljack,

13. but of their human friend, Sparkplug.

14. We are ready for your demonstration, Sparkplug.

15. (Sparkplug) Right, Opimus Prime.

16. Well, I just wanted to see what I could do a big pile of spare Autobot parts,

17. and a whole lot of human ingenuity.

18. So I built this big guy.

19. Autobot X.

20. (Spike) Wow! It's like somekind of,

21. robot Frankenstein monster.

22. -Franken-what, Spike?

23. -Aw, it'd take too long to explain, Bumblebee.

24. -Now, let's see if my little invention works!

25. -Another Autobot? Even if it works, who needs it?

26. -Hey, look, dad it!

27. (Spike) Auotbot X is alive!

28. -Y'see Wheeljack? You're not the only mad scientist around here.

29. -Hmm. Maybe I can do something to improve on your model, Sparkplug.

30. (Autobot X groans)

31. -You'd better do it fast, Wheeljack, look!

32. (groaning)

33. (Sparkplug) Hey! It's not supposed to do that!

34. Not working. I can't control it!

35. -We'll have to stop him!

36. -Gotcha, boss! We'll teach that walking junk pile some manners!

37. Thanks for the force field, Trailebreaker. Now its our turn!

38. (Prowl) I'll hit him with these acid pellets,

39. until he drops!

40. -You might not have to wait that long, Prowl, buddy.

41. -Wow, dad. You kinda create a metal Frankenstein's monster.

42. -Prime, I guess Autobot X better be put in storage,

43. at least until I get him perfected.

44. -Ratchet and I'll help.

45. Ya know, I'd like to find a way to transfer mental impulses into Autobot X,

46. then, if an Autobot is damaged, his mind could still function in Autobot X,

47. while his body was being repaired.

48. -Talk about spare parts!

49. -Your idea may have merrit, Wheeljack.

50. (Optimus Prime) There's only one reason Teletraan I,

51. sounds that alarm.

52. The presence of Decepticons in the vecinity of...

53. The new Air Force rocket base.

54. Autobots, transform and roll out!

55. Ironhide.

56. Ratchet.

57. Prowl.

58. Windcharger.

59. Brawn.

60. -And we'll be able to see things no one has ever...

61. Huh? What's that?

62. Decepticons!

63. We can't let those evil robots sabotage this lodge!

64. -It takes much energy to launch these rockets, general.

65. That energy now belongs to us!

66. Now, before any other such petty annoyances present themselves...

67. (Optimus Prime) Do you consider us petty, Megatron?

68. -Autobots, transform!

69. -You know what to do. Leave nothing for repairs!

70. -Come on, guys! Let's zap into scrap!

71. (Starscream) Too bad you don't move as fast as you talk,

72. Ironhide.

73. -Took me... by surprise.

74. (Brawn) So, you Decepti-creeps like to fly, huh?

75. Well, take off!

76. -The rockets! No...

77. -You sure we did the right thing in coming here, Bumblebee?

78. -No, but we could hardly stay behind either.

79. -Energy supply inadvertently destroyed.

80. -There is nothing left to take!

81. (Megatron) Return to Decepticon headquarters!

82. And, to ensure that the Autobots will not try to stop us,

83. A diversion!

84. -Bumblebee! Spike!

85. Autobots, cease fire!

86. -Hang in there, Spike! I'll getcha outta there!

87. -Yes, attend to your diminutive friends while we depart.

88. -With a little time, Bumblebee, I should be able to fix you up.

89. -But Spike will require immediate medical attention, if he is to survive.

90. -I'll get him to the hospital fast!

91. -I'll provide an escort to get him there faster!

92. -Hmm. If only there were a way of separating Spike's mind,

93. from his body, while we work.

94. -Doctor, maybe there is a way.

95. It's a one in a billion chance, but if it'll save my boy, we gotta take it!

96. Can't you work any faster, Ratchet?

97. -I hope your theory works, Wheeljack.

98. -It should. With my cybernetic attachments,

99. I'll transfer the mind of your son into the robot form of Autobot X.

100. The human physicians will have time to perform the operation on Spike's real body.

101. -Okay, Wheeljack. Do it!

102. -Spike, my son!

103. (Sparkplug) Spike! Do you know me?

104. It's your dad!

105. -Dad!? I'm Spike?

106. Spike? Me?

107. No... no! No!

108. -Spike, son. What have we done to you?

109. Why? Why did you do this to me? Why, why!?

110. -He's out of control again!

111. -Come on.

112. -Sideswipe! Sunstreaker!

113. -He must be stopped, but use loe power.

114. If the body is destroyed, Spike might be lost forever.

115. -Spike! Are you...

116. -Dad? What's... wh-what's happening to me?

117. -Forgive us, son, but we did the only thing we could do to save you.

118. You'll only be in that robot body until the doctors as the hospital,

119. fix up your real one.

120. -Yeah. Guess you did what you could, but... it's hard to... think.

121. Like something's telling me to... do... bad things!

122. -Must be a side-effect of the mind transfer.

123. -Sorry about the outburst, dad.

124. -Spike, Sparkplug...

125. Some of the other Autobots and I are needed back at the rocket base.

126. Got to help repair the damage done during our battle with the Decepticons.

127. Meanwhile, Spike, every comfort will be provided to you here.

128. (Spike) That's good.

129. (Megatron) So, the human called Spike,

130. now posesses an Autobot body. And the state of his mind is questionable.

131. Interesting. Perhaps I can turn this situation to my advantage,

132. and use this "Autobot Spike" to destroy the other Auotbots.

133. -You've made such boasts before, Megatron,

134. but the Autobots still exist.

135. -Becareful what you say, ambitious one,

136. or I'll turn Autobot Spike's power against you!

137. (Megatron laughs)

138. What supreme irony! Turning their friend into their foe.

139. Aw, Ratchet, how much longer?

140. -Don't blow another gasket, Bumblebee, I'm almost done!

141. Still have to fix your radio transmitter.

142. -Enjoying the movie, Spike?

143. -Uh, yeah, Wheeljack. Thanks for patching Teletraan I into that TV station.

144. (Move character) I beg of you Dr. Frankenstein,

145. Do not go through with this unholy experiment.

146. This creation of yours, made from mismatching parts, and an evil brain,

147. is a monster who will destroy us all!

148. -Nonsense! He will be grateful for the giant, powerful, body I've given him.

149. (Monster graoning)

150. (Movie character) You see, doctor? You created a monster!

151. A monster!

152. -No!

153. (Yells)

154. A monster! That's what you turned me into!

155. A robot monster!

156. -Just like I thought! Spike's mind is...

157. -No! Don't say it!

158. -Sorry. I'll have to finish the job later, Bumblebee.

159. -No! You'll never take me!

160. -Where will he go? What will he do?

161. -In his present mental state, who knows!

162. -Then maybe somebody better find out!

163. -Bumblebee, wait! I still have to repair your radio transmitter!

164. -Reflector to Megatron.

165. I have him in my sights and will maintain watch until your arrival.

166. -What a drag. Trapped inside this walking garbage can.

167. Should I use my new size, my power, to help the world like Optimus Prime does?

168. No!

169. Why should I? I'm not like Prime!

170. I'm a monster!

171. (growling)

172. Metal Frankenstein monster!

173. With enough power to conquer mankind!

174. -Spike, wait! It's me, your pal, Bumblebee!

175. -Bumblebee?

176. -Listen, there was a side effect to the experiment.

177. That's making it hard for you to think right!

178. -No. You're trying to trick me!

179. -Hey. What's that?

180. As if I had to ask.

181. -You did well, Reflector!

182. Don't I always?

183. -Huh?

184. Good. Let 'em come! More enemies!

185. Yeah, man! I'm gettin' to like this powerful robot body of mine!

186. (Starscream) He wants a battle? Let's give him one!

187. But, if you really wanna hassle...

188. (Megatron) Wait! There is no need for further conflict.

189. -Megatron!

190. -I must say you've improved your appearance since our last encounter, Spike.

191. -Easy for you to say, Mega-crumb! Way I see it, I've become a monster! Like You!

192. -Monster? I am no monster.

193. (Megatron) We Deceptcons are but sentient machines,

194. who've discovered our destiny in this vast universe.

195. Will you join us Decepticons, and be second only to me?

196. (Megatron) Together we will punish those,

197. who did this to you.

198. -I... I don't know! It's getting harder and harder to think!

199. -Then let Megatron think for you, Autobot Spike.

200. Will you join us?

201. -Right, Megatron.

202. We'll make 'em all pay for what they did to me!

203. Pay real bad!

204. -5, 4, 3 ,2, 1...

205. Ignition!

206. (Cheering)

207. Look at 'em go!

208. Aren't they a gorgeous sight?

209. -Impressive. For primitive rocket technology.

210. -What's that?

211. -You there! Halt or we'll... -Halt!

212. -Optimus!

213. Megatron is telling lies to Spike! And Spike's startin' to believe him.

214. -I feared something like this would happen.

215. Bumblebee, lead the way!

216. -I just knew you guys'd get here sooner or later.

217. -Spike, we've come to help you!

218. Soon your real body will be repaired and we can return your mind where it belongs.

219. -Belongs? Belongs!?

220. It belongs here, in this mismatched Frankenstein body you guys gave me.

221. Well I'm beginning to like it in here.

222. (laughing)

223. Man, I got powers I haven't even discovered yet!

224. -Listen to me, Spike!

225. This is not really your doing!

226. It's the unfortunate side-effect of the mind transfer!

227. -You're partly right, Optimus.

228. It's not just me that's doing this. I've got backup!

229. Met my pal, Magatron!

230. -Let's take 'im!

231. Wait! What about them?

232. (Starscream) Attack! Take no prisoners!

233. -You said it, Starscream. No prisoners!

234. -Blast 'em 'til they're nothin' but debris!

235. -That's right, Auto-Spike! Keep firing!

236. -Listen to me, Spike! You are not acting according to your own mind and will!

237. -He's tellin' you the truth, Spike! The experiment did somethin' to your mind!

238. -It's so hard to think!

239. -Don't let them confuse you, Spike.

240. Destroy them!

241. -Spike! Spike! What are you doing?

242. Spike!

243. -Shouldn't ya fight back, Optimus?

244. No. If I destroy his metal body I also destroy his mind.

245. -Why are you attacking your friends?

246. Spike!

247. -Dad? Dad!

248. -As I said, I got powers I haven't even discovered yet.

249. -What are you waiting for, Autobot Spike?

250. You my power to destroy them!

251. Yes. Yes! Now's my chance to destroy them!

252. -You fool! You've turned my power against my own warriors!

253. -We have been betrayed! Retreat!

254. -You... You saved my life, son.

255. Thanks!

256. -Dad. It was me who put you in danger in the first place.

257. Can you ever forgive me?

258. -Spike. There's nothin' to forgive.

259. -We've given him the best possible treatment Mr. Witwicky.

260. The rest is up to you and the Autobots.

261. -Guess this is the last time I'll get to see myself from the outside.

262. -Hope you fixed this gadget good, Ratchet.

263. -Ok, Wheeljack. Zap me back home!

264. -It's overloading! It can't take much more!

265. -Oh, wow! I'm... I'm back!

266. Back where I belong!

267. -Ya know, Wheeljack, I could probably repair that mess.

268. But I think it best that I don't.

269. -Hmm. I wonder...

270. I wonder what it'd be like for a robot mind to be transferred to... a human.
